I-95 CAP Update: Market Street Ramp to I-95 South will remain closed until November

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Monday, March 31, that the Market Street Ramp to Interstate 95 South in Philadelphia will remain closed until November for construction under PennDOT’s $328.9 million I-95 CAP project.

The ramp was closed on March 24 for Philadelphia Water Department work and will remain closed until November.

ATTENTION—From Sunday, April 6, the Market Street Ramp to I-95 South is scheduled to close 24/7. During the closure, motorists are directed to use southbound Columbus Boulevard and the Morris Street Ramp to I-95 South.

PennDot is replacing and expanding the covered section of I-95 at Penn’s Landing along the Waterfront in Center City Philadelphia under the department’s $329 million I-95/CAP project.
